The Arc 400 also offers lift TIG functionality making it an ideal choice for industrial applications. The VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) option is an added safety function that reduces the open circuit voltage of the welding power source which is used in the MMA/Stick welding process when welding is not taking place to a safe voltage low voltage (9V). The VRD function does not affect the welding performance of the machine. Suitable for welding cellulosic electrodes
